ITIL is the abbreviation for Information Technology Infrastructure Library. The IT Infrastructure Library is a series of books that outline a comprehensive and consistent set of process-based best practices for IT Service Management.
Two of the principal elements:
ITIL is a Registered Trade Mark, and a Registered Community Trade Mark of the Office of Government Commerce, and is registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The trade mark symbol should be inferred whereever the term "ITIL" appears in this website.
