Samsung SCH-a645

Purchase

December 28, 2006:  We currently have five cell phones from Alltel.  One recently broke and we needed a replacement.  Since we are still under contract for the one that broke, we knew we'd be paying full price for the new phone.

We decided on a Samsung SCH-a645.  Our price including tax was $149.44.

History

January 8, 2007:  For several days anyone who has called this cell phone has noticed a terrible echo.  We took the phone back to the store.  The sales person at Alltel immediately ran an update on the phone before testing for the problem.  Now it is working fine.  We were told if the problem comes back, we can have the cell phone exchanged for a new one.

January 10, 2007:  The problem has returned!
