All About Me! |
Monday, January 1, 2007 - A couple of weeks ago, I had a spot removed from the upper part of my forehead. It was basal cell cancer.
The surgery left a scar that is about 5/8 inch long and about 1/8 inch wide.
I bought some Scar Zone cream today while at Walmart for $9.24. This evening, I used it for the first time.
One reason I bought this product was the SPF15 protection.
I'm planning on using this twice a day as given by the directions and will report back as to how it works.
Here is some of the information from the front of the Scar Zone package:
The back of the package has the following information:
"Massaging Scar Zone into the scar begins the process of reducing its appearance by helping it fade, diminish and become less noticeable. When massaged into the scar twice daily, Scar Zone even helps raised and discolored scars become flatter, softer, smoother and closer to the skin's own natural tone. Green Tea's combination of antioxidents and EGCG helps restore damaged skin cells.
Scar Zone works on new wounds that have healed or on older scars that are still visible.&nsbp; So no matter how long you've had the scar, Scar Zone should help. It can be worn under makeup and under clothing because it will not stain."
The drug facts are also listed and include the active ingredients, use, warnings, directions, and inactive ingredients.
The bottom of the package has the Money Back Guarantee:
"We are so convinced you will be thrilled with the results of Scar Zone, it is completely guaranteed. If you are not satisified with the results, return the unused portion, the original purchase receipt and UPC Code. Within 6 to 8 weeks, we will refund your full purchase price."
The address is also given.
Note my purchase was from LOT#FJAB and EXP/10/08.
The UPC: 18515-60870.
