STP Super Concentrated Fuel Injector Cleaner
Unclogs Dirty Fuel Injectors - Made with Jet Fuel - 12 FL OZ (354 mL)
Contains concentrated detergents that help dissolve and remove harmful carbon, gum and varnish deposits on fuel injectors. Without cleaning, deposits can lead to hard starts, lost acceleration and rough idling. This product is made with Jet fuel, a high quality carrier of active ingredients. This product is safe for all gasoline engines. DIRECTIONS: Pour entire contents into full gas tank. Firmly replace cap on empty bottle and discard in trash or recycle. For tanks up to 21 gallons. May be used in combination with other STP fuel additives. |
2006 July 25 - For approximately the past month, we had been having problems starting the car. Most often it was after driving the car, turning it off, and then back on several minutes later. The longer the car sat, the more likely it would start.
We had checked the battery and it was ok. There also seemed to be no correlation with the weather, i.e., being hot or cold.
It was suggested to us that the injectors were getting dirty and to try an injector cleaner. To make a long story short, it seems to have worked. Details on the product used for our third treatment are shown in the box.
2006 July 30 - The windshield wiper fluid is not working even though it was recently filled. I'll need to investigate later.
2006 July 31 - The intermittent starting problem has returned. It is very hot, mid 90s. Don't know at this time whether that is a contributing factor or not. We tried multiple times around noon and 5 pm with no luck. Around 8 pm, we were able to get the car started on the first try and drove it home.

| Ocotber 10 | Left front tire appeared low. Checked all four tires. All were low, i.e., around 20-25 psi. Added air to all 4 and set at 32 psi. | ||
